*Research is a necessary step for me to complete before starting my magazine as I will need to know the common codes and conventions they use such as mastheads and cover issues, in order to make my magazine resemble those currently on the market.
A magazine itself is defined by the concepts and conventions it behind it. If want my magazine to have those attributes, so when looking at it straight away you can tell its a magazine because, of the obvious features such as plugs and hooks etc research is vital, as it can determine the outcome of my finished product, for example the codes and conventions used by a music magazine are completely different from a gossip magazine, which is why i must only divulge into the industry the brief stated and research in-depth the ideologies and concepts behind music magazines.
