The key point that should always be taken into consideration is how my magazine will resemble professional ones currently on the market. After browsing some websites of popular music magazines that are well established in the market such as; Rolling Stones, NME and Q. I was able to form a basis in regards to what my magazine needs to be composed of.

Most music magazine have predictable features which include;

Relevant hooks, plus and cover issues etc

An emphasis on a particular gender.

Album reviews.

Interview with popular artists.

The latest news within the music industry etc.

Additionally due to the rapid change within the music industry this being; how the aspect of downloading and digital CD's have monopolised the distributing chain, many music magazine are now offering what is often referred to as cover mounts. Evidence to show this is posted below.
