magazine Analysis- Mix Mag- Contents Page.

* Contents page contains a black page, in which mostly white font has been placed in order to make things more bolder.

* A large picture of a party take up most of the contents page, under it a page reference is placed in large numbers making it easy to flick to the page you won't. Under a caption of a picture is giving which is about clubbing and night life.

* Type of font differs a mix mag logo has been placed in the top left corner, then the issue date, and CONTENTS in block writing.

* Interestingly in this magazine, not everything is listed in the contents, just the vital stuff and special 'features' that were listed on the cover. Their are only two categories VIP, and features. making it simple, clear and minimalist.

* Page references are either given in either block capital font, or small yellow number.

* Each 'feature' in the content is given a title and a little explanation what it is about, this is kept interesting as it is meant to draw the reader in.

* At the bottom more information is carried on about the FREE MIX CD. Track listings are given as well as a brief summary.

*Pictures are mid shots, which enabling the viewer to see the artists/persons outfit and facial expressions.

* Page references and photo credits are placed at the bottom and side of the page in small fonts not taking up to much font.

*Overall, I really like this contents page as it contains a lot of information but the conventions they have used enable things to appear spaced out, comprehendible, readable and very modern. The font they have used although in blocks is clear cut and simple to read.
